Rally tends to get into your blood. Once it is there, you can't get rid of it. When you're a rally driver all the way through, from the way you stock the cabinets to the way you put your pants on, it's who you are and even what you are. Building a rally team from from the driver's seat isn't easy. It's complete with hardship, uncertainty, triumph, and anticipation.

I learned about the sport of rally after my first year of college in Charlotte NC in 1995. Immediately I knew that rally would be my future; I wasn't sure how. I started by living in London for a year, traveling around eastern Europe, spending a couple days with my van broken down on the side of the interstate half way across the country, spending thousands of hours learning to be a mechanic, working weeks of 18 hour days to get a rally car ready to go, winning a couple championships, making some amazing friends and having the opportunity to demonstrate my craft in front of the X Games audience. Now I've had a career in rally racing for a couple years, but I still feel like I'm just getting started.
